In an encouraging report, every fourth youngster in the 15-17 age group is now fully vaccinated. Till Monday, 8.8 lakh teens had been given the first dose of Covaxin while 3.1 lakh have been given both doses. 

As per the Delhi government’s estimates, 78.6% of school-going teens have been given the first shot while 27.3% are now fully vaccinated. The vaccination of those in the 15–17-year age group started on January 2022. After a gap of 28 days, the vaccinated teens become eligible for the second shot.
